This morning my daughter had a really tramatic experience at the Esso garage on the Gt Cambridge Road in Enfield.
She had put petrol in her car and went into the shop to pay, unfortunately her debit card did not work. She really didn't know what to do and asked the assistant what she should do... He was extremely rude and aggresive which left her in floods of tears. She contacted my husband who offered to pay over the phone, even though the assistant refused to speak to him, she was left in a real quandary. Approximately 20 minutes left she left with the promise that she would put a cheque in the post.
I never realised that such abusive, aggressive people were employed by such an international organisation as Esso...!
My daughter is completely traumatised by this whole experience and I shall be taking this matter further with the management of Esso.
Esso Service Station is a petrol filling station that also has a mini market selling a variety of goods including convenience foods, snacks, drinks, confectionery and tobacco products. They also sell mobile top up cards, phonecards, scratchcards and Lotto tickets.
