Very unprofessional with very poor communication and terrible customer service. I came for my cat to be vaccinated. The vaccin needed to be a two step process which required me to come twice to the clinic. The clinic forgot to mention the time limit of a month on the secondary vaccine, did not propose me an appointment and did not try to contact me regarding this second vaccin. When I contacted them, they mentioned I was overdue and had to repay for the whole thing and come back twice (again).
Please avoid at all cost, this practice sounds more like a well thought machine to make easy money on their clients back.

It was sad to read the comment about poor service. My experience of the vet was: About two years ago I need urgent treatment for my dog, he was at deaths door and as the cost increased and I could no longer pay the bills I was told not to worry and was allowed to pay when I could:) Thanks Ben.

Totally recommend without hesitation! I have over 20 animals (dogs, cats and bunnies) and I wouldn't trust any other veterinary surgery. On several occasions they have gone above and beyond to help solve my animal medical mysteries and are always caring and sympathetic. A major benefit is that as a large practice, the vets are able to discuss patient issues amongst themselves so you get that second, third and fourth opinion straightaway. I've lost a couple of animals over the years and have learnt the hard way that not all vets are up to speed especially when it comes to bunnies however the vets at Canonbury always exceed expectations. For those that think it's a bit expensive ...rest assured you get what you pay for. Just one final note for the reviewer before me - Charlene has always been nothing but polite and friendly for as long as I have been visiting CVP as have all the other receptionists. Perhaps the attitude you received was exactly what you were giving out...!?

Today I was reminded of why I took my business elsewhere! I had the misfortune to return out-of-date food which i purchased a few days ago. A simple exchange one would think but not so! First off, the receptionist (chanelle or whatever her name is) sternly gave me the spanish inquisition: when did I purchase the food? what day? who served me? how did I pay? did I have a receipt? and so on. I told her I bought the food a few days ago, paid by cash, etc and, as she went on and on, I informed her that she could check her CCTV for evidence. She stood shaking her head whilst reading and re-reading the packet which btw, had the delivery stickers on it with CVP clearly showing! She was rude and obstructive. I went to the shelf and took 2 other packs of food to the counter, both were out of date by at least 2 months! This seemed to irk her further. Instead of apologising for a simple oversight and exchanging the food, as I stated previously, I received the equivalent of the spanish inquisition from one bloody rude little girl! I demanded my money back and she accused ME of being rude. This is what disrespectful, untrained staff do, project their faults onto others! I can see nothing has changed since my days as a client. I will not be going back there and I'll be sure to inform people that expensive does not always mean quality. Upon reading other reviews, yes. CVP are all about MONEY, animals are a mere means of obtaining it. I know this for a fact!My advice: avoid this rip-off joint like the plague!

The service is wonderful and the staff are very plesant and friendly; however the prices are very high so sadly I cannot afford them.

The service is lovely. They're very friendly, smiley people and are on the ball to help in any way. I'm a first time pet owner and so this was my first vet as they do free kitten check-up's. The Doc., Ben, was very easy to talk to and ran through every one of my worries before I even asked (on the ball *wink*)!

It was a pleasure, but unfortunatly their prices are a bit too much for me as a full time student. Please give them a call and ask for prices/check them out, pretty worth it.
