We have used this vet several times to treat our little Battersea rescue dog. Clearly eveyone here loves animals. The vet shows warmth and kindness both to our dog and to us. The medical expertise is high, and the examinations are always thorough. Everything is explained carefully, and the vet always had time to answer our questions. The place itself is clean and the receptionist - nurse is friendly and knowledgeable. Costs are clear and fair. I can't praise this practice highly enough, we recommend it to pet-owning friends.

The vet seemed more concerned with how much money he could squeeze out of me than the wellbeing of my pet. He did nothing to put him at his ease, didn't speak to him or stroke him, told me that the treatment would "depend on how much I wanted to pay."

I was disappointed - we've dealt with a lovely vet there in the past, can only assume she's moved on. I didn't necessarily want someone who cooed over my pet, but some kindness would have been nice, as he was in a strange environment.

I was very sorry to have this poor review brought to my attention so long after it was posted. Most certainly if you had contacted me at the time I would have apologised for the manner of the locum vet who was there for a few days and offered a complimentary consultation with our regular and popular vet Roger Irish upon his return. The practice only wants to match up to its responsibilities to pet owners by offering a friendly and caring service. If ever we do suffer a rare complaint at one of our surgeries it is investigated thoroughly and acted upon. Review boards such as this are useful but do not offer the practice the chance to make amends and I would suggest that if any client should ever feel any dissatisfaction then please let it be made known to the practice direct. We really do care about maintaining high standards. Thank you.

Very professional and helpful. I was explained what was happening, why the Guinea pig I brought in was in the bad condition it was giving advice on how to prevent the problem to occur again. I was given the option to either take him home for the night ( suggested by them ) or leave him there ( more expensive ) so, at least in my experience, not just in it for the money. Extremely patient with me too ( he belonged to friends of a friend, who were away. I knew next to nothing about usual vet, or its previous conditions ), but they did want to know his medical history ( we managed in the end )

Nice, clean & welcoming vets. Vet was friendly and knowledgeable and handled my cat in a very caring and considerate manner. Also they dealt with neutering him and I was most pleased with the outcome.
Trustworthy, caring and helpful - Excellent service for your money.

Use better supplies. They bandaged our dog with low grade bandages not proprietary bandages like Petrap or Powerflex No Chew. This practice is absurdly expensive and sees making money as its prime objective. We've tried it three times in about 20 years and been disappointed each time. Avoid
