This estate agents is utterly unprofessional and useless! Avoid at all costs.
My boyfriend and I were intially impressed with the service offered by this estate agents, when we were being shown around flats in the Crouch End area. We were looking at lettings and intially received a helpful service by the guy that managed lettings at this branch named Rob. We viewed a property that we were particularly keen on and promised by Rob that nobody else would be viewing this property over the weekend and that first thing on Monday we would have first refusal on it..
I called up Tatlers first thing on Monday to transfer money across to formally secure the flat and was told by Rob that he believed that someone else had put a deposit down on the property, but he would get back to me that afternoon. We were utterly shocked that this could have happened, given that we had been promised by Rob that the flat was ours. Rob did not return my call. I subsequently phoned up over 10 times in the next couple of days and all my calls were avoided by Rob. Several times I was promised an immediate call back from his collegaues, but this never happened! His colleagues were even quite rude and sarcastic on the phone. This whole situation could have been avoided if the estate agent had been honest with us from the outset and apologised for the mix up, rather than avoiding our telephone calls. I would not use Tatlers again and found their customer service to be awful, I would not recommend them to anyone!
