Rubbish!
Had problems with infestation, deputy manager was very rude and unhelpful. They take weeks to respond to emails, and are never around when calling. Will NEVER rent a property through them and have been telling everyone I know not to use them. Absolutely outrageous. Please don't use! I hope they close down!

Categorically I will deny that I have been rude and unhelpful towards yourself, with your accusation of weeks to respond to your emails I can confirm that your emails were either dealt with immediately or within days as per their priority.
The infestation you mentioned was dealt with on the day you reported it with the vermin control company gaining access to the property with you, subsequently the cockroaches were eradicated before the second visit and third visit. The vermin control company did advise that the****roaches found would normally be found in a country with a better climate, and the company were at a loss as how they found their way into the property?

Not only was the infestation dealt with quickly but your demands to vacate the property were met even though you had just signed into a fixed term six month Tenancy Agreement with ourselves and the Landlord, we allowed your tenancy to cease once a new tenant could be found.

Initially the search for a new tenant was somewhat hampered by the condition you had left the property in, dirty carpets, very dusty, drill holes and raw plugs in the walls where a tv had been mounted but with the drill dust still on the skirting board! Food left in the fridge and freezer which had gone off and created a bad smell within the studio.

My suggestion to you is that you have your comment removed as there is no factual relevance to the actual situation or how it was handled by McConnells.

Contacted McConnells several times in an attempt to view a property, never called back, staff I spoke to were rude and unhelpful, in the end I gave up it was made quite clear they didn't want to give me a viewing of the property, 3 months later I noticed the property was still up for sale so tried again.............unfortunately I got exactly the same thing as before. If you have a property to sell or let then try someone else first!

From the very first meeting with staff at McConnells the service received has been appalling, offensive and extremely confusing. McConnells have been nothing but unhelpful and rude!!
Pretty much EVERYTHING you dont want in a Letting Agent, especially as we are the paying customer baring in mind!

If your looking for an abysmal service....McConnells in Dartford is the place to go!!!

It is very unlike any of my staff to be rude and unhelpful and our company policies regarding letting a property from McConnells is very simplistic with only one fee involved and no resigning fees.

We do have criteria that you are either employed, have independent means (Savings or a pension) and if there is a need for a guarantor then this is looked upon individually, but as a general rule applications with guarantors are not accepted.
