At Just Barking we start with a pre-grooming consultation to understand what you would like done, and what will be achievable given the condition of the dog's coat - where the dog's health, safety and welfare are the top priorities (for example, we wouldn't brush out a badly matted coat because this is painful and will damage the skin). At the end of the treatment, if there is ever any concern about the 'finish' (maybe it's not as balanced as you'd like or you think something looks a bit off-kilter), not a problem, it's easy to correct there and then. We invite our customers to have this dialogue with us. We're a small, independent business, and we love serving our local customers and keeping them happy, because this is where we live. It's v rewarding to meet our regulars with their dogs in the nearby parks, or at the local coffee houses (and pubs, ahem). This is a privilege we cherish which is why our groomers hold some of the most prestigious qualifications in the country and are committed to ongoing learning, attending seminars, workshops and competitions.
