The lack of a proper welcome when you arrive is common. Common courtesies would improve things. The queues are often long and there is little effort to try to alleviate these. Machines are often broken, water runs out in the gym and often there are no paper towels; where is the basic maintenance, given how much it costs to join? I have found also that there is often no offer of help by instructors about using the machines. These problems were evident BEFORE the Centre closed down a few years ago, and there seems no obvious improvement even now.

They have had enough time to sort out teething problems at Clissold Park Leisure Centre.
The fact that the centre still does not run properly is inexcusable!

there are still problems as soon as you enter the place with fast track ticket machines constantly out of order. The staff are so uninterested in what they are doing it defies belief!! Even though the queue is literally out the door they still do not call for more staff, even though three of them are feet away at the same reception desk chatting to each other!!
When you are eventually at the front of the queue you are welcomed to the desk with a surly girl who makes zero eye contact and hollers 'NEXT'.No good morning, please or thankyou, herded through like cattle!!!!
These guys are front line FGS please teach them basic courtesy and manners.
All in all total indifference from every member of staff i encountered, its a though they where there just to keep them off the streets!!!
Not one person showed any passion or pride for what they where doing, how very very sad.
Facilities are ok considering the place cost 43 million to get off the ground, but the staff lack enthusiasm or any sort of customer focus which left me feeling totally drained!!!

I HAD TO LAUGH AT THE POSTER CAMPAIGN THAT WAS HERALDING THE CENTRE WAS ENTERING A COMPETITION THE BE THE BEST LEISURE CENTRE 2010.
IF THEY WIN THIS YOU SURELY MUST QUESTION THE JUDGES AND THE JUDGING CRITERIA, SMACKS OF SELF PROMOTION TO ME!

This gym boasts, very high levels of humidity, ineffective access control management and incomplete areas under construction.

Be sure to sign any documents away from the premises to allow you a cooling-off period.
