The Stationers company received their first royal charter in 1557, established by booksellers, bookmakers and illustrators to regulate their trade. Today the company maintains a register of books and fine art, as well as supporting charities and education. The Stationers Hall is available for hire and can cater for up to 205 dining guests and receptions for up to 400 people upon request.
