Clean Team

DON'T USE!
1. Cleaners: didn't clean flat. Kitchen & bathrooms left esp dirty, had to spend Bank Holiday weekend cleaning up after the cleaners.
2. Carpet Cleaner: 5 hours late, spent time & £ on calls trying to find him & his ETA. Told he had wrong address &/or was stuck in traffic. All carpet edges were left black (weren’t that colour before)! He also left bottle of carpetcleaning chemicals on floor, v dangerous!
Due to his lateness he & removalists required attention at same time, resulting in me having to run back & forth between my old & current flats, v tiring & time-consuming & also cost LOTS of £ in calls trying to coordinate.
Because carpet cleaner so stupidly late, he just finished "cleaning" the carpets when removalists finally arrived, so carpets weren’t dry & wouldn’t be for at least 3 hours. Carpets only upstairs in flat (downstairs is floorboards), so removalists couldn’t move our stuff upstairs. As bedrooms are upstairs, most of our stuff belong there, so have since had to move everything upstairs on my own.
3. Removalists: 2 hours late & again, spent more time & £ trying to find them & when they might arrive. Various excuses were that they had wrong postcode & also stuck in traffic, although I didn’t see any traffic in my many trips between flats & if they’d arrived on time, they wouldn’t have been travelling in rush hour.
Despite helping removalists to speed it move up, move finished v late that night & then we had to clean flat cos cleaners didn’t.
V unhappy with services we paid a lot of £ for. Girlfriend is a lawyer & sent detailed complaint with photos & asked for partial refund, v fair compromise but didn’t hear back so now filing court claim, making formal complaint to OFT etc & spreading the word so others don’t make same mistake – tell all!
