Hair Lux

Wow, disappointed can NOT cover how i am feeling. When you go to a hair dressers especially to one that you don’t use normally, you are putting your faith and trust into someones hand and hope for the best knowing your hair makes a big difference in your appearance and confidence. The hairdresser i usually see was on holiday unfortunately and i had to search up a couple near me for a definitely needed haircut. I found 3 in the area and Hair Lux looked the best in terms of rating and pictures…. Boy! Was i wrong! Dont get me wrong when you walk in the salon the place is lovely and looks great its once you’re in the chair and they start working and cutting you realise maybe this place wasn’t the best choice. I asked for my bangs to be trimmed and the ends of my hair to be cut with some layers, i was so disappointed once the blow dry was over. If you are a hairdresser that isn’t comfortable doing certain cuts even if it’s something as simple as layers and a trim just say so! I much rather leave with a trim or something basic than you attempt to do something you can’t seem to handle. When I looked around the back of my hair and it was uneven, there were bits of my hair that were much shorter almost shoulder length ( my hair was down to my waist) my bangs that got cut had no blending with the rest of my hair and it looks like i have a bowl cut with the rest long and cut in odd lengths. I’ve been to enough salons and had enough layers done to know, this was not it. Going back to the blow dry, they were over booked which of course can happen and that is understandable but dont rush my hair and do a botch job just because you’re over booked. She didn’t just almost burn my ear twice but also managed to catch it with the brush plenty of times not to mention i asked her specifically to please be gentle with my scalp when brushing and washing as i suffer with Psoriasis and the next day if she brushes it really hard or washes it really hard it will flare up really aggressively, when it came to the brushing and the blow dry there was no consideration as she was rushing and flustered. Definitely not a salon I recommend and i will not be returning even if they would offer to fix it, if you managed to mess it up the first time dont be a fool and think i’m gonna trust you again with what hair i have left. I am so so upset with what they done, definitely a confidence knock down! Also if you’re wondering why there aren't many bad reviews, there is something definitely wrong with the page because i had to actually use a different browser before it let me write a review, seems there is a bug. I hope other people will think twice before using this place.
