This is the worst hospital you are ever likely to come across. They are diabolical. The administration is diabolical, their procedures, appointment booking correspondence, and every single facet of the hospital are atrocious. I do not have the words to even convey how poor this hospital is. I went in for surgery, and the surgery was a failure. I was given the wrong anesthetic. The wrong surgeon was booked. The wait times were ridiculous and every single aspect of this hospital is a complete shambles from top to bottom - this is simply the worst hospital in the history of hospitals. They are an embarrassment to the medical profession.

Please read this valuable comment, while I was booked on an appointment over the text for Urology Appointment, waited over 8 months later I received a text confirming the appointment was booked in December 2021, one week prior to I received a text confirming to cancel that appointment, after waiting until 23/02/2022 I received a text the appointment was booked for 25/02/2022 at 11:00am and I was glad,
24/02/2022 I was trying to call and double check and I have to wait for their automated system over 52 minutes, I recalled the through the switch board & spoke to Natalie, she was very kind and asked 'Am I private or NHS? that's to divert me to the NHSJUNK Patient section, so I requested please do not direct me in to the automated and she promised that she will talk to them then connect the call, unfortunately she categorically routed to the automated, I did call back and went through to the option Private and Pricing section, no wonder instantly 'Tommy' answered with a surprising he confirmed there was an appointment booked for 25/02/2022 at 11:00 am, so I asked whether am I in the system? he assured, so I asked for direction details...he said, no it will be a telephone appointment & stay at home? Gog who knows? I am totally flabbergasted !!!NO WONDER even I am trying to make a realistic feedback for other members of patients but sadly on their rating automatically the rate starting with 4 hearts/10,
So it means it is a tailor made feedback from the NHS.
WHAT A 'National Horrible Service' supremely a pathetic story!!!

Quiet location that is unique ( in a metropolis) and welcome ( for healing) Had a wonderful room, thanks Colette, and very very clean. Delicious food, vegetarian meals as well. Staff can be shy but if you give them a break they will do just about anything for you. Favorable package with 2 night stay. Anaesthesiologist able and very friendly. Don't wanna jynx things, as not out of the woods yet, but my surgeon dr B Patel is the very best; dexterous, smart, cool, experienced, not afraid of a challenge, understanding and friendly.
Highest recommendation for him.
Above all I got out alive so f

Part 2

After the operation I was transferred to ITU. The dungeon. I was placed on the most horrible uncomfortable bed under a very powerful cold air blowing air conditioning unit. I am allergic to AC. I was told to stay flat to for 3 hours or I may bleed a lot.

I was cold to my bones and very miserable and shivering big time. Around 10.30 I told the new lady nurse that I am allergic to the AC and am very cold. She totally disregarded this. I asked for more blanket. I could not get warm in there. The nurse completely ignored me. I was too weak to demand any more so I asked for additional blankets loud. This time the lady gave me an additional blanket but very lightly on my top. I was cold, asked for more blanket. The blankets were given to me easier when a male nurse arrived and he was wonderful. I think I had 10 blankets on my top but very cold, Shivering and not getting warmer. Could not move from the fear of bleeding.

I have 2 slipped disk and very bad back as the result. I was heavily sedated so I could not raise my voice and insist on getting a better bed and may be a warmer place.

I have sent this letter to the hospital authorities and Executive Director has written back to me justifying all as a matter of routine procedure there. She claims that doctors need not to wear gloves when taking blood test. It is not unusual for a nurse and a doctor not being able to do a blood test. That I have not asked firmly at the night to go to another bed which is warmer and not directly under the AC. That the morning nurse has done a good job keeping me under the AC until after the breakfast.

I have been forced to go through a heart operation in this hospital, as the other hospitals that my consultant can operate is not accepted by my health insurance company. The operation was on the 28th of December.

I had a call from the hospital to go there for pre-operation checks on Friday 23 of December. The check involved, blood test, ECG and chest X-Ray.

I was received by a young nurse to do the blood test first. This is not my first blood test. I have done blood tests for years. This young lady, had no idea about how to get a blood sample. She tried the needle in my arm first and failed miserably. So she called a Dr to come and help. The lady Dr who arrived, was not much better. She put the needle through a vein on the back of my hand where there is not enough pressure to give enough blood. After a few attempts, they have managed to get enough blood for the various tests. This took around 45 minutes. My previous experience with blood test in any NHS hospitals, time wise, never been more than 5 minutes top and always successful with the first attempt.

I went back for my operation next Wednesday, hoping to have a better experience. After all this is a totally private place and suppose to have the best care according to their glossy brochures.

Unfortunately in the operating theatre things got worth. The same nurse who struggled to take blood sample Friday before, now in the operating theatre given the same responsibility (BLOOD TEST AND CONTROL). This time she managed to call a male Dr to do the piercing of the hole in my arm. This male Dr, used NO GLOVES and did not even bother to wash his hand. Half heartedly he attempted quickly sticking a needle into my arms all the time trying to pass back the responsibility to the inexperience nurse who was refusing to accept it. At this time, my blood was spilling over his bare hand back into my body. Unfortunately at this point I was too weak to shout about or anything, as the local
