Reported to management of what I call racist behaviour by one of their staff..
They then transferred my claim to another county??
I am a White British Veteran..
They have not investigated, answered the issues at hand and having spoken to other staff at other jobcentres.. They too agree that it may well be a racist led issue..
I suggest anyone going through similar with this Jobcentre go straight to the OMBUDSMAN as this management seem happy to try and ignore or brush issues under the carpet..

The staff at this job centre how no time for you as a person, the are only interested in how much paper work you complete. I was not once asked about how my job search was actually going or how my home circumstances are. It's all about the paperwork. They want you in and out in 10 minutes and the paperwork completed as fast as possible. I was given less than 20 hours notice about an appointment to fill in more paperwork, no one answered the phone after 8 attempted calls to rearrange the appointment. Would absolutely not recommend this centre.

My first advisor was intelligent, helpful and paid attention to my situation. Unfortunately her job was temporary and when she left I was handed over to another advisor who is rude and disdainful, doesn't even look me in the eye when I go to sign on and has no idea of the kind of jobs I'm looking for or any intention to help. This advisor (and the others I've come across) try to make me feel like a naughty child because I'm receiving JSA. I'm utterly disgusted by their attitude. And I can't call the centre because it's an 0845 number. What's that about?

It's been a pleasure to go to the job centre in Forest Hill. My supervisor has been of immeasurable help and understanding. Definitely a winner
