Considering this was my first time getting nails done I'm extremely happy! No fuss, very professional and staff welcoming. Prices slightly dear but you get what you pay for, great service!

I had nail extensions done here, the quality was poor and she left areas of my nails unpainted. The staff were also rude and in the end I couldn't wait to leave

It was an excellent job they do in this salon. Staff are very friendly and experience and knowledgeable. They are very detailed and they know exactly what they do, no mess up. They use quality products and it is value for money.

I went to West Star Nails yesterday after 13 years to have my shellac manicure and pedicure done. I couldn't believe all staff have been working there still, very efficient and experience. They know exactly what they are doing. The job was done perfectly and the paint was the best I've had. The shop is usually packed at weekend but I didn't have to wait for long, about 10 minutes, and they have many staff who really put their heart in the work, but it's worth and the price is reasonable. Really you get what you pay for. I would come back again even now I move very far from the shop.

Absolutely awful!
went in for both a manicure and pedicure in which she stated would be £33 altogether which i agreed too.
The tools used for the pedicure has not been sterilised at all and were in muggy cold water.
All hand towels were filthy with nail varnish stains all over, there wasn't even a hand towel in the bathroom.
After my nails were finished she then charged me £55 stating she used a none chip nail varnish which I hadn't even asked for!! I then replied stating she had told me it would be £33 in which they would not reply and demanded the money!

Having read a couple of negative reviews about West Star Nails, I was a bit sceptical about using them, although the reviews I refer to were rather suspicious, and probably written by a competitor.
Anyway, having had an awful experience at another nail salon nearby (mention no names) I thought I'd give them a try. And am so glad I did.
The staff there were fantastic, very helpful and did exactly what I wanted.... and at a good price also:-)
I'll definately be using them again.
