I personally have received sub standard customer service from Kenneth Elliot Rowe’s conveyancing department.
I had a property purchase full through (My property survey flagged damp!) a year ago and out of the blue this firm are now trying to charge me for the full quoted conveyancing fee (as much as if i had purchased the property!) i’ve had no correspondence with them for a full year and they sold my searches to the new purchaser of the property which was confirmed by the estate agent marketing the property, I paid a deposit up front to them to cover their initial costs. Why was I not invoiced at the time of the purchase falling through? Why invoice me a year later even though i’ve had no correspondence with them for a year? Why does the invoice not show the deposit I paid them to start work? Why have i not received a discount on the invoice even though my searches was sold to the new purchaser of the property? I dealt with [name removed]. Beware if your purchase falls through you will not just lose your deposit with this conveyancing solicitor they will wait a year and then come at you for the full fee! Horrendous Sub standard customer service.
