If only i'd read these reviews before using this dreadful shop........We ordered 2 internal doors from them and they fitted both. Don't know the fitters name but both doors are of the poorest quality and neither close properly. For this 'service' we parted with £200.00 and now need to replace them both. Keep away from Door Clearence Warehouse in SE12 - they do not deserve to be in business.

We ordered a panelled inside door from these guys. I came across these reviews and did wonder if we'd get what we wanted but gave them the benefit of the doubt. After weeks of asking where the ordered door was, my husband just collected it from the shop even though he wanted it fitted. The door wasn't a solid door and was chipboard, so it couldn't be cut to size. My husband went back to ask for his money back and didn't get it. Do NOT give these guys money up front until you actually get what you want. I would recommend NOT to deal with them. A bunch of cowboys at best I'm afraid!

I had an appalling experience with this company. I was told week after week I would get my door, it took months. When it came it was in an appalling state. The owner and person coming to fit door were rude and lack communication skills.

Waited over 2 months for a door I was told i'd have by the end of the week. Total lack of communication. I had to keep telephoning or going into the shop. The man didnt write any details down so the first door arrived unstained and the 2nd door was the wrong colour. I had taken a sample of the colour in with me when i ordered the door yet when I went back on the 4th time he said "Its a pity you didnt bring this in when you first came in" By the time the final door arrived I was sick to death with it, and considering I'd paid for a professional job the staining was of a poor quality and patchy. I accepted the door as i just wanted an end to it and from a distance its ok. I will never use this place again

I have just had 3 doors fitted inside my property and could not be happier. My doors were delivered ontime and the fitter Del has done a brilliant job. Great value for money and I would defo recommend this company to friends.

Looking at the previous reviews I was slightly worried.

However my front door came on time, and was exactly what I had ordered.

The fitter Del did a great job, and spent time doing the job really well.

Overall it was a great service and the door was fitted really well.

I would definately recommend them and in particular Del to fit your doors.

I was looking to replace my front and back door and a friend recommended this shop for its reasonable prices. I called the shop but was unsure of the sizes required and what type of doors I wanted. They offered to send someone around to measure up and show me the door types. An employee was sent within 24 hours and I received a competitive quote. The doors were of a high standard and the fitter Del was very professional ensuring that the area where he worked was cleaned after him. I was extremely happy with quality of workmanship and the service that I received. Would definatley recommend to my friends.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP. Not sure if these guys are dodgy or just incompetent. Either way I had a simply aweful experience which was consistent with the damning reviews posted here.

I wish I had read these reviews before getting involved with this company. He quickly took (a lot of) cash up front. Then complete silence, no shows, not doing what agreed, not contactable on phone, no returned calls. Had to go down there in person at least half a dozen times, just got fobbed off. Two and a half months after cash handed over, a different bloke turns up and does a bodge job. One example - they didnt hang a door properly so the handles wouldnt fit in latch, therefore the guy just hammered a nail into the door frame to stretch across the the latch. Also fitted mis-matched handles. I had wanted to use local people rather than B&Q even though it was more expensive; I will now always use the big retailers and never local trades people again. To try and balance it out, the only positive I can think of was that he wasnt an outright agressive or rude person. Just before the job was finally completed I was going to report them to Trading Standards - I didnt do it as I was exhausted by the whole experience. Worst customer service of my life by a country mile, and I'm a very relaxed person about these things. Avoid for your own sanity.

They were very quick to take my money up front, but no door delivery on the Monday they promised. They then were very hard to get in contact over the phone. Despite leaving numerous messages and texts they never had the courtesy to ring back. I get hold of the guy about once every other day despite ring every few hours. When I do get hold of him I just get fobbed off with obvious lies. He has on numerous occassions promise to deliver the door, but never turns up. I still have not received my door and I am seriously thinking that I never will. I would advise anyone to go nowhere near this shop.

I ordered all new doors for my house. They took my money straight away. The owner was so miserable. They made so much mess when fitting the doors, put on wrong handles and different sizes. Owner fobbed me of time and time again when I complained. I later found out that someone else I knew had had the same problems but didnt get a chance to warn me not to use this firm.

Look i'll try and be as open as possible. Their professionalism leaves alot to be desired. However, in this recession if you are looking for a cheap door which you see onsite, take it. Otherwise, if you are forced to order you may have to wait a long time

I wouldn't touch them again with a 50ft barge pole. They took an order to deliver double doors later in the week. When they were due there was no news. Not only did they fail to let me know, but they also failed to answer any phone calls and the only way I could get any information from them was to call round and collar them. Then they just fobbed me off saying they were due to arrive the next day, which they never did. Finally the doors arrived 3 weeks later and, for no apprant reason, they then fitted them with a handle on the left side (from the inside) rather than the right.
