I specialise in the treatment of repetitive strain and sport related injuries. Using an osteopathic approach, I encourage healthy movement in joints, muscles and tendons by correcting mechanical imbalances. My work and sport experience has given me an insight into how the human body and mind react to different forms of treatment and exercise. Treatment techniques usually consist of gentle to firm joint manipulation aiming to improve the range of movement in restricted joints. A wide range of non-invasive manual techniques, such as deep tissue massage, joint articulation, trigger point therapy, myofascial release and if appropriate medical acupuncture are widely used to help the treatment goals. Patients are strongly recommended to follow postural advice, stretching, and exercise guidance.
