I think Harris and Hoole is the coffee shop chain that's owned by Tesco (which brings it down a bit in my estimations I'm afraid). I originally thought it was independent :-( Other than Tesco taking over the world, I only have positive things to say about Harris & Hoole. It's a really good size, without too many tables so you don't feel as though you're sitting with everyone listening to your conversation. They are child-friendly with books, toys and high chairs, and the coffee tastes good.
