The Pine Mine

Sadly I would not reccomend these people to anyone. Such a shame. I gave them them benefit of the doubt even after reading the other scathing review on this website and I told them I was doing as much. I even said that if they did a good job for me, I would take the time to write a good review about them. When I mentioned this to David who came to quote for me, he pretty much said that he does not want to deal with people who think they are higher than him because he is a labourer. That is not what you say to a potential customer who has just warned you that an unpleasant review has been written about your company on the internet.

I am totally up for using my local amenities but Pine Mine are a joke. I made what I thought was an 'appointment' for them to come and collect my pine to be treated (much of which was originally bought from them) but was cancelled on 3 consecutive days with such casual manners. The fourth day I called up and David (presumably the owner) and he said they would be here at 11.30......4 phone calls later and 5pm struck and I gave up and told them I would be taking my custom elsewhere. I had waited in all day for them to come and collect the furniture and they just didn't bother....I only live three streets away!

Such a shame as they do have lovely furniture but you cannot run a business like they do. Very unpleasant experience.

In our experience the Pine Mine on Wandsworth Bridge Road is a terrible shop, we will never buy from them again. Bough a piece of very expensive, bespoke furniture from the Pine Mine. The whole experience was horrific. The furniture we bought was delivered more then three weeks late. The seller made an appointment to deliver three times, and didn't show up. They didn't even call to inform us they were not coming. When they finally came to deliver the seller was extremely rude, aggressive and threatening. They stormed in to the house and did not care what damaged they made when they installed the furniture. At one point he told us to "shut up and stay the f* out of their way". It was a horrible experience to have people like that in the house. This was the worst buying experience we ever had and we will never by anything from the Pine Mine ever again. We can only recommend anyone considering to purchase anything from the Pine Mine to seriously think twice before doing so.

Very good service - Great products and they dropped them off on the same day.
