I went to the audio shop this summer to have my headphones fixed, the repairer was annoyed with me, he didn't really want to do it. It wasn't much to him, but sentimental to me. He fixed the phones by the next day, for a basic price, but the sound was completely distorted and jumping from ear to ear, it also hurt my ears for a while, and then he took my money anyway. I haven't long come out of hospital, and am registered disabled. I also didn't find his behaviour very helpful to me. But it's a shame because I was hoping for better, despite, him thinking my custom wasn't worth while. lol

Hi
We are a Pro audio / technical events company
This has been my preferred service centre for amplifiers and DJ equipment for the last 8 years. I have never bothered leave a on-line review before, but these guys deserve it. So here we go.
True professionals and very reasonable prices compared to other repair centres. I trust them and have recommended them to many of my peers.

This repair shop offers a welcomeing and friendly service its nice to see the engineer works on your amp while you watch him , he took it apart and explain what he was doindg ,after finding the fault he gave me a price which was very fair, the job was completed the following day. This is a honest repair centre you can rely on them for good advice. The engineers name is Lawrence great guy

They seemed like a couple of nice guys when I dropped off my two monitor speakers. I suspected that the switches simply needed to be cleaned. They called me to say the job was done, without telling me the problem or a quote. When I came in they charged me £96 for simply taking the backs off and cleaning the switches for a few minutes. I said that this seemed very high, and they said it was a £40 minimum for each job, with each speaker being a "job". I think this is totally illogical, you should pay for their time not per item.

Couldn't be happier with the service here: they were really friendly and helped restore an old radio in no time.

I am a Huge fan of Electro Harmonix effects pedals and in particular the English Muffin pedal, exquisite valve distortion...anyway, it broke...stone cold dead, nothing...... it turned into a very expensive by-pass pedal and left me aghast at my misfortune, a friend recommended this place for fair, efficient service devoid of the Denmark Place Supercilious attitudes that that area is drenched in. How right he was, the owner (i presummed) was attentive, and reassuring that it could be fixed and not destroy my bank account. He contacted me unprompted, and told me it was ready for collection 2 days later ( i had dropped it in on a Saturday). I collected it, paid my debt for their work and it has been a joy ever since. No fuss, no stories that tell me how magical the enginneers are and how they suffered trying to fix it, and that i am a wretch of a human being for not understanding electronics fully..... the complete antithesis to Denmark area. Worth traveling out to if you are fatigued by GUITAR/ELECTRICIAN/ shop keepers of that Denmark place ilk.....infact uxbridge road (W12) has many cafes to visit and write in so try it out... relax..... help is here.....
