Was expecting wonderful things are the 6 month renovation. Whilst the appearance is much improved & the fresh bread is good, the staff remain same as before & the food leaves a lot to be desired.
Would suggest the staff take your order at table rather than expecting the customer go up to the til.
Why not offer a choice of breads for toast rather than serving thin poor quality tasteless pap?

Lovely cakes, lovely staff. Even when I'm not buying here they wave out of the window! My favourite cake shop in East Finchley. Killer double espresso too!

I have just been into Chorak for coffee & cakes, & contrary to the reviews, I thought the food was great. And the staff were very friendly & chatty, seems very opposite to what others have said.

They have beautiful artwork on the walls - I asked & its also a gallery. Worth a look if youre passing

The bakery has really nice looking cakes but sadly they are stale. The staff there are grumpy- maybe that's why the cakes are stale.

If they want to sell out on cakes, perhaps get the staff retrained in customer service because they have zero customer service at the moment.
