Really nice people. Always have time for you, always do exactly as you ask. Don't charge the earth. I travel ten miles to have my hair cut here.

Very poor service I never leave bad reviews however after leaving with a dodgy haircut that I wouldn't pay £3 for I felt I had to. I asked the older barber for short on the sides but wanted to keep the length on the top. He then proceeded to give me the worst clipper cut ever with 4 on the top and 2 on the sides. The haircut is patchy and I'm just about to go out and get another haircut. In all honesty the haircuts by the younger barbers there seemed to be decent though.

I am one of the regulars, although I moved away from the area in 1988.Always been happy with the haircut I have here. Well over 25year with them and to see same person evry time is great thing these days. I ha Only time I have had my hair cut elsewhere is when I am abroad...

I've been using Clifford's for well over 15 years, I no longer work in the area, but I am happy to travel about 3 miles every month to have my hair done. there has always been a friendly atmosphere at these premises, and I have never had any problem with my haircuts or with the service.

Poor, poor, poor. Surly service and very bad attitude towards customers. Getting annoyed at a customer asking 'a little more off the top plese' or some similar phrase to the same effect is unacceptable. If you are really strapped for cash and can't afford a decent cut - which there are plenty of in Clerkenwell - for £20/30 then by all means go to a cheaper barber. But not this one.

I have to disagree with the orignal comment, I've been going to Cliffords for 25 yesrs and I also have had great service and a superb cut everytime. Cliffords is definitely apart of the history of the area and other local customers visit time and time again. Good job.

So sorry you had a bad experience in my salon, after some staff training we hope this will never happen again, please come and visit us again for your haircut and remember we are the cheapest in the area but the very best in expert cutting........
