I just came to this shop a few moments ago to buy a replacement valve adapter which I thought would be a simple transaction . After requesting the valve it was produced to me and it cost £1.99 I only had a £20 and the sales assistant asked if I had anything smaller as they didn’t have the right change so I asked is there anywhere I can go a break the note as it was all I had on me at the time . At that point he began to question the validity of the note and said it didn’t feel right , his colleague said to use the fraud stick on it to check it but it didn’t work as it appeared to have run out and after a few short moments he took my money with hesitation and said that if it isn’t real he will just have to take it and spend it somewhere else and as if by magic he produced the correct change which previously he never had . I have to say I haven’t felt discriminated against this for a long time and as a black man living in Chiswick it used to happen a lot . I will not be shop

This has been 'my' bike shop ever since I moved to Hammersmith more than 15 years ago.

I'm reviewing it now because I took the bike in to have a minor repair, expecting nothing more.

But actually, the bike seemed transformed - light and smooth and fast. Reason is, the shop has a highly skilled and thoughtful mechanic who had seen what other little improvements were needed, and just done them.

He's the same mechanic who was already working there when I first used the place.

A big thank you to the guys in the A Fudge Cycle Store , Chiswick for the ladies’ hybrid I bought for my daily commute. I was a bit uncertain that the Liv Medium Alight was the right size and style for me, as I usually go for a man’s bike. But wow! I took it for a 20 mile run around Richmond Park and along the river. And the verdict? It’s fab. Really zippy on the flat, stable on the rough and it tackled the hills - including the challenging Broomfield Hill - with ease. Great sales advice from the salesman who took the time to explain the benefits of a woman’s specialist brand over a standard men’s bike without patronising, and allowed me to go for a test run. I am so happy with my purchase. Thanks again.

After about 35 years, at least I decided it was time to get back on my bike , my first bicycle age 4 to 5 was a purple Prima with stabalisers, you never forget your first biycle. With the Glorious summer in 2018, I was working close to home for a change, betweeen MAY - August, and was desparate to incorporate exercise into my daily routine. I am originally from Chiswick so made sense for me to contact local family run store and I had remembered one on the Chiswick High Road which happened to still be there ...Andrew gave me sound advice and recommended his father's Store in Shepherds bush to get a bike within my budget in the timescale I required ...over the moon and very happy with my HORIZON PROBIKE purchased on around 20th July, 2018, served by Davie, I arrived as usual after work not much time before the store was about to close ..left deposit, passport held while had a quick spin round the block. Collected next day cycle home, SENSE OF FREEDOM --- BEST THING I'VE DONE! THANK

Very friendly, helpful and reasonably priced. They have helped me on numerous occasions with small bike adjustments and help removing components free of charge. Their prices are also very fair. Often beating online prices. Would choose these guys over any bike shop chain for buying and maintenance
