Terrible experience and not for a proper cyclist. Overpriced and left me with brakes worse than before I gave it to them. Low quality workshop and mechanic.

A shop that thinks it’s ok to put a larger tyre on the front than the back tyre. Then calls it a professional difference of opinion. Clearly no mechanical knowledge by the owner yet likes to argue what works best . Very disappointing and didn’t rectify the issue.

I had visited a couple of bike shops for advice in fitting and recommending a childseat that would work on mine and my partners bike.
I was helped in choosing all the right products within my budget with all my needs taken into consideration, no snobbery and they took their time.

These guys will go the extra mile, for your cycling needs without hesitation. Great cycling store : excellent mechanics and very very fairly priced repairs.
Very friendly staff, I explained the issue with my vintage bike; they quickly diagnosed the problem with a few options, my bike was fixed within a 24 hour time frame .. and works better than before !
Definaltely going back and recommending without hesitation, one the last real bike workshops without gimmicks or snobbery .

Honest and reliable bike shop! Been around nearly 30 years.
Good prices in comparison, shopped around the local bike shops. Excellent repair service and sales.
Bike turnaround can be same day.
No hard sell these guys know what they are doing very knowledgeable.
The lady is not too bad either".! Very helpful.

love this independent shop.
Great for women, newly moved to the area. Having researched other close by bicycle repair shops, this is by far the most reasonably realistically priced, no overpriced repair costs, that I have found in other local bike shops. Excellent repair and sales. Good mechanics.

You can tell straight away that the people working there love and care for the bikes. I asked for a full service. Very reasonable price, nicely tuned and even wiped my bike, which no other shop did for me. The owner is very approachable. He is the type of man I wanted to entrust my bike to. Now that I have, I will surely carry on

I came across A & S Cycles as I was searching for a bicycle gift for my girlfriend... cannot rate this shop and the staff highly enough. Excellent customer service and very good value for money.I have also taken my bike in for repair and it now works a dream. My girlfriend is extremely happy with her new Heritage bike and will be recommending to all her lady friends to this women friendly shop. The lovely lady in the shop is extremely helpful ... a great independent shop :)

Ladies ladies ladies... If there was a bike shop that caters for women cyclist in London then this is the place. What a superb shop I'm so glad I found this place. :) just wonderful! My vintage bike was restored here. Good knowledgable mechanics.

I discovered A&S Cycles this morning after a tumble on Lea Bridge Road. The owner took no time re-attaching the chain, adjusting the mudguards and tinkering with the brakes. He also found the inner tube (fitted at the Bike Shack in Leyton - would not recommend this place!) was the wrong size for my wheel which had been folded over to fit (hence lost air easily). This is a great shop - knowledgeable, quick service, very fair price.

I went to London Fields which is the other local bike shop to buy a bike as a gift. The type I wanted they said they will order and can take couple of weeks. I was really dissatisfied with this outcome as was for a gift I needed ASAP. Decided to try this place . The lady kindly helped me choose a bike and I was able to take it the next day! This is what I call service I was over the moon. They even attached a complementary box of chocolates to the bike when I collected it. You don't see this type of personal service any more so thank you AS cycles. Fully reccomend you guys :)

I've used this shop for the last 15 years I've bought all my children's bikes from here the staff are very polite and efficient good value for money and quick and efficient I would recommend it to anyone. So sad to hear about the owner being ill we wish him a speedy recovery

This place has been serving the community for over 25 years! The owner/mechanic is sadly ill at the moment therefore the usual opening times are irregular. A.scycles is still open, best to go at the weekend or book in advance untill normal hours resume. Wish the owner speedy recovery.Would definately recommend this to all.

Have had our bikes serviced a few times by this guy - he wasn't expensive and very quick plus really easy to deal with. Nice bloke - good business - fully recommend.
