I took my kids bicycle there 7:30 in the morning and less than ten minutes all is done and the prices are unbelievably too cheap. This is best bicycle chop in the whole of uk.

Bob is the best! Fixed my gears 2 yrs ago and no repairs needed since. I think every customer should give a tip as the prices are way below what you'd expect to pay and no where else would you get honest, reliable and high quality service.

It is no exaggeration to say this is the best shop I have ever been to. Bob and his son are both extremely down to earth, polite, and just trying to help people out. Multiple people in my household have bought bikes off Bob and/or have gone to the shop for servicing over the past year or so. Every service we've had has been brilliant and incredible value.

Thanks, Bob!

Local bike shop offering friendly service at great prices - what’s not to like - have been going there for 6 years and they are always very helpful

I took my son to bobs bikes yesterday, where a friendly helpful gentleman discussed with my son what was wrong with his bike, and how it could be avoided by taking more care of it. All this advice was given in a friendly manner and the man said it was easily fixed and he done it for FREE. In a world where everyone seems to be making money and taking advantage especially with children’s products it was really refreshing and made my sons day. Thank you very much

Bob's great, he's always super friendly and super reasonable. Bought some lights off him and when the strapped snapped and I went back, he replaced it immediately and with a smile. Always gives great customer service too, often for free.

True story.
I went to a bike shop in Dulwich (hipsters, coffee in the background, languid service) and they said "300 pound to fix your bike";
I went to a bike shop in Bellenden (high rent, coffee in the background, no customers) and the guy went "the bike cost 250 and it's not worth that to repair it".
I went to Bob at Bob's Bikes (walking the useless thing there since I couldn't take it on a bus) and as I went in (no coffee, lots of bikes, lots of customers, no coffee, no moustaches), I explained to Bob the parlous condition of this foundling bike "yeah, I'll do it, do what I can, 80 quid".
You are paying for the hipster economics of coffee and rent: go to Bob's BIkes, he's super-competent and *really* knows his job. Unlike said also-ran hipster Aguecheeks. Bob is the business. End of. Now, where's my coffee-bean grinder.....? DCA

Bob's is a proper true belief bike shop. They built a new back wheel for me after my old one buckled for a very reasonable price and every other problem I've ever had (misaligned sprockets etc.) Bob's fixed for free (to be fair, he is an amazing bike mechanic, so it does take him all of 2 minutes!) I cannot recommend this bike shop highly enough; and I have been cycling all around London for 12+ years now.

To the person who left the negative review - did you actually take your bike back to the shop, and ask them to remedy the problem? Even without a receipt I'm sure they would have

This is the best shop I have been to,staff are helpful, polite, and down to earth. They offer free advice, and suggestions.Unlike HaHalfords, who just try to penny pinch. They offer new and reconditioned parts ,low prices and I always take my childrens cycles there for servicing / repairs AAA+++

I needed a wheel for my bike, I was going to fix it myself. They gave me wrong size hybrid wheel (wider than my frame), with the tube bad inserted and racing tyre. I was trusting them as I am not an expert. The day after 1 had a punch. I removed the tyre and seen that the tube was bent inside. I just realized after that I had no receipt of my purchase so I could not even complain...I would not trust these guys and did not deserve to stay with 10 stars.

Bobs was recommended to me by a friend who gave him rave reviews... The shop doesnt look like much but cannot be beaten for prices, quality or service. The people who work their would gladly spend all day talking to you and giving advice about bikes for free. They are so holpful.
