Very welcoming, peaceful venue for coffee and cake.The sandwiches are freshly made and delicious, as are the variety of cakes. In the warmer months an attractive garden area is available.

What you want from a cafe welcoming ambience, good quality food at a very good price. A great place to relax, meet afriend, read a paper or chat to the owner George.

I thoroughly recommend this little gem located very close to Sydenham station.
It feels like entering George's, the owner's lounge. The service is welcoming and the smile that George shows, comes from the heart, it's winning and warming. The sandwiches are made from the freshest ingredients and George cares about his customers, he wants them to enjoy the sandwiches, the cakes, the smoothies, the coffee. He puts his 100% in everything he does and it shows, I keep on coming back for more, and he's never defaulted from his high standard.
