The Pepper Mill

Wonderful local restaurant. Great chef who takes pride in the quality of the food. Having eaten here often, I just finished a meal of pepper steak, chips, onion rings and salad - all for £7.00. Would highly recommend the ribs(marinaded in a special sauce). The portions are huge, the place is informal and welcoming. A great addition to the local restaurants, but better food and much better value!

Last Friday I had the ribs marinated in the chefs' own special sauce and my friend had the corn fed chicken pousin. I had rice and salad with mine and my friend had chips and salad. The portions were on the large side but we were determined to finish it as the food was great. After a couple of cokes and two lattes, we still had change from a £20.00 and we were stuffed! The service was good, waitress was polite and it's nicely decorated. Next time I'll try the mixed kebab. It's all cooked on the chargrill. It's not long been open but I'm glad to have discovered it.
