Beetroot is a small cafe serving snacks and sandwiches in cardboard cartons rather than on plates. There are plenty of dishes for vegans and vegetarians to choose from. They also provide a takeaway facility. Outside seating is provided on the pavement.

Best For
Great restaurants for Vegetarians
Who needs meat anyway? We show you London's most innovative and creative vegetarian eateries.
More of a café than a restaurant, Beatroot is ideal for a cheap lunch. Portions are huge and everything is served in a carton box; there are salads, vegan cakes, and hot dishes including moussaka, shepherd’s pie and veggie sausage rolls.
