When meeting friends from three european countries what better place to pick than a cafe in a prestigious london Park. Unfortunately although the Girl who served me was polite and efficient ,the manager asked me how long I was going to be ??? When I had just ordered and paid for 4 soups and a sausage and mash.
No excuse me,no Good afternoon,No How are you today,No courtesy just extreme disrespect and a couldn't care less attitude that speaks volumes for those of us who have manners. What a shame. We were all utterly disgusted. avoid it like the plague.

The service was a bit slow as there was a queue and as the food was freshly prepared on the grill. However, we found that it was worth waiting for. Very good sausages and bacon, in a good quality roll. We will definately be going back, and taking our friends.

The setting of this seems like it is ideal, the lovely looking cottage in the middle of regents park and the slogan 'free range, free sprit' would make you expect only the best. However, I was sadly disappointed. The service was the worst I have encountered, and the food wasn't even that great. For the post code alone you would expect something wonderful, or at least a place you'd be willing to return to.The servers we're rude, uninterested and didn't even give me what I'd ordered...which, by the way, was TWO not one sausage buns! Even the manager seemed un bothered and frankly rude to other customers. The restaurant was very quaint and picturesque but it was let down by the awful service. Very disappointing, will not be going back.

The honest sausage is situated in in lovely spot in the park, and has a nostalgic traditional feel. The menu is very limited but this is fine as it is more of a spot off point than a sit down dinner. The sausages are lovely, and as stated are all locally sourced, organic and tasty. However i was throughly shocked to discover that the honest sausage isn't so honest when it comes to their 'mash' as it is serving up powder packet smash with these lovely sausages and it is utterly dreadful. I don't quite understand how they can do such a thing when they market themselves on being so 'honest' and there is (obviously) no warning that this is the case for innocent customers that can taste the difference, do not want to eat powered potato and don't want to be mislead. i suggest not eating that and going for the hotdog instead. At least the bread is real.
