The Mona Lisa offers best quality food and service and all at affordable prices, with a good selection of food, from simple to haut cusine.
Their soups, fish, salt beef and other chicken meals taste as if freshly home cooked, and served with a smile. The Apple Strudel is on a par with being in Vienna!
May not be luxurious, but very clean, comfortable, and so very reasonable in price. We both look forward to eating at Mona Lisa.
Long ay they keep these high standards.

The Cafe Mona Lisa is absolutely incredible value for money (even more so now with the 'credit crunch menu') and the service is always very pleasant and very efficient. The portions are huge and the food is tasty and well-cooked, with an excellent menu that is wide-ranging and includes several fish dishes, vegetarian dishes, spicy dishes and salads. Dishes always include lots of 'extras', for example the chicken liver pate comes on a plate that includes a hard-boiled egg, dill pickes, lots of toast and some green salad leaves. The puddings are home-cooked: best is their fruit crumble and custard is offered at no extra charge. It's not fine dining - it's a neighbourhood cafe - but it's comfortable and spotlessly clean (including the toilets). You can book tables in the evening but not for lunch, when it's always heaving.

I have been eating at this place since it opened.
The staff are very friendly and service is excellent.
It has a small menu with daily specials that change regularly and also lots of fish.
Prices are really reasonable and they now have a credit crunch menu - 3 courses for £10.
The full english breakfast is always nice, as is the chicken and advocado salad.
Overall I would highly recommend this place.
