I first used Russell's for spares in the 60's, again in the 70's, and 80's, and 90's.
The fact that they are still in business speaks for itself.
They were good then, and when I did business, a few years ago, by mail order from France, they were still good.

I remember them from 1980(!!) when my fork springs were absolutely "tired" after a 4-weeks -trip along the West Coast of Ireland: bought new springs and fitted them right outside of the premises, then back home to Germany!

I used this shop in the fifties as a teenager when I lived in London. On visiting Battersea recently I could not
walk by without going in for a chat, I was
made to feel welcome and told by a lovely bloke that he was third generation
In the business, he uncovered his dad's

I have used Russell Motors for more years as a London motorcyclist than I care to think..for bikes across the spectrum. They are so good..so helpful..never phased..always got an idea..and always happy to help:why would you ever go anywhere else. For brakes and tyres they beat all comers and for more technical bits they are a fund of knowledge with a sense of humour.
The shop is what we lost as dealers took control..but what motorcyclists need more of. Top Tip. Use them.

I have used Russell's since the 1960,s. They always have a huge stock of parts for Nortons and AMC (AJS and Matchless). A little idiosyncratic so make sure you always ring before you come, especially if you are riding in from some distance. The scooter dept is always open but they can't help much with older bits.Always worth trying them first because their Mail Order is fast too.

Brilliant little garage. The twins know their mechanics and the old man knows his parts. A great team.
They are helpful and always willing to do their best to keep you on the road, even if you don't have a lot of money.

The biker twins are amazing. A dying breed: decent old school Londoners who always give you the time of day. Their old man's great too -real characters with amazing knowledge. Glad there are people like this around.

I've used Russel Motors for 5 or 6 years - a brilliant little garage, like something out of the 1950's. Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and they'll always attempt to squeeze you in at short notice. Any make, any model.
And they always give a bit of discount for cash - lovely! Proper old school.
Highly recommended.
