The insurance company told me the repair would be my excess - £250 - which i left with my partner
the collection agent took that amount from my partner and left the paperwork in the car.
when I got home, I saw the paperwork said £200... When I phoned Peter James to query this, the receptionist said 'the price was £200. the collection agent handed in £200, so there's no proof you gave him anything else'... They were not interested, it was case closed (they even told me to check my partner didn't take the money)
The car had to go back after that, because they hadn't done all the work.
Repairs eventually took 3 months on and off and the car still has problems.... No final paperwork and so no warranty - not that I would trust them again - I wouldn't trust these people to clean my car, let alone repair it
