Absolutely useless company, Eurocar Enfield.. Mercedes booked me a hire car. Eurocar said would be delivered to me by 1930 it wasn’t. Rang them at 2230 they said booking had been cancelled so would be with me by 1000 next morning, it wasn’t. Rang Mercedes to sort them out, eventually Arrived 1515, 20 hours late so 2 appointments missed. Been trying to get in touch with them for nearly an hour now to say I’m returning the car in the morning, can’t get a reply! Totally useless company.

The branch does not offer the service promised by the website. They failed to deliver a vehicle on time and the central customer service team were unable to get in touch to find out whether the car I'd paid for was going to turn up late or not at all. It did turn up late. Then they failed to collect it and branch told me there was an 8 hour collection window when I'd clearly booked a 1 hour slot. They overcharged me by about £10, didn't call back as promised to arrange the vehicle collection.
There needs to be better communication between the branch and central team, particularly when the branch is closed. The website needs to be updated so that services that aren't offered by branch can't be booked online.
Not sure whether it's the branch's fault of at Head Office but I won't ever rent from them again.

Absolutely inept customer service and care. Made a booking to pick up a car on the 14th September at 1.15pm, made payment and gave all the details. Arrived at EuropCar London Enfield at 11.30pm and was told that there was no physical car here present available until Monday even though reservation and payment had been confirmed. The staff at the branch were extremely unhelpful and provided only one alternative which was to wait till Monday the 17th. Rang through reservations team and customer service multiple times with no resolution from either end and no alternatives given. Ended up leaving empty handed at 1pm with two hours wasted and no car or alternative given despite exhausting all options. Dissapointed, disgusted and appalled with the level of customer service and car this car company pretends to uphold. Would not recommend this car company for anyone, to any colleagues, acquaintances or friends, and not even to my enemies. Absolutely disgusting experience locally from branch lev

I would advise anyone thinking of hiring a vehicle from Europcar to think again. Also, read the reviews and complaints on the internet first.
I hired a van for work from Europcar in Enfield, because my car had broken down. I paid for 10 days hire online, £122, and went to collect the van the following day. I was asked if I wanted additional insurance At £14.88, and tyre and windscreen cover at £8.33. At NO POINT did the member of staff say this charge was PER DAY!
Europcar ended up taking an extra £278.00 from may bank account, more than DOUBLE the original cost in extra charges.
