Budget Rent A Car

I would strongly advise avoiding Budget car rental at all costs, their business plan is to offer deals which appear cheap on the surface and then charge you for everything they can afterwards.

The car was over two hours late on the delivery day and I ended up having to go to their office to pick the car up myself because of the delays.

On return of the vehicle they turned up over an hour late again which meant the car had a parking ticket which they refused to pay.

In addition to problems with delivery and collection the car was in average condition and it was clear previous users had been smoking in the car.

My main concern is they appeared to be completely reasonable and professional during the booking process, it was only when things started to go wrong (late delivery etc) that they tried to get out of all responsibility.

Avoid these incompetent fools like the plague.

I received extremely poor service from here - they refused to honour my reservation because they had "sent the garage staff home early". The desk clerk was extremely rude - laughing at me instead of trying tp solve the problem he had caused. Do not try to rent a car from this location - they are hopeless. I had to use Europcar at Euston to get a rental - use them instead.
