Ganache

This shop is absolutely one of my most favorite places in London. I used to go there every single day after school when I was in Uni, it's just because I loved the sweets the shop served. It's a small sweets shop where only a few people can sit. But the atmosphere is cozy. There're various kinds of sweets such as Belgian chocolates, Belgian fruits jellies, Turkish delights and Baklavas. The owner, he is really kind, friendly and a gentleman. I miss the place a lot. Definitely I recommend you to try.

I wandered in hoping for a nice cup of tea and a sweet treat. I was disappointed. The man who appeared to be the owner, was completely rude and I can honestly say I've never felt more uncomfortable in a cafe/eatery before! He basically grunted and seemed to hardly speak a word of English. I asked what was in the Halwa and he looked at me like I was a dunce. Anyway, I asked for some of the Halwa and he chopped a block of it off, knowing full well how sickly sweet and expensive it is (at the time I didn't). £6.30 for a rather small block of something too sweet to finish! Utterly disappointed
