Camden Citizens Advice Bureaux Service (CCABS) is an independent organisation and is a member of Citizens Advice (The National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux).
The aims of the Citizens Advice Bureaux Service nationally are:
•To provide the advice people need for the problems they face.
•To improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.
The service is FREE, CONFIDENTIAL, IMPARTIAL and INDEPENDENT. We are committed to equal opportunities and anti-racist policies in both providing the service and employing staff.
We offer information and advice on almost any subject. The main areas of work are welfare benefits, housing, debt and legal advice. We also use the experiences of our clients to comment on proposals for changes in administration or legislation. Most of the people coming to the CAB in Camden are on low incomes, or social security benefits. Our users come from a wide range of backgrounds, many have dependent children, many are elderly, are unemployed or have significant health problems.

If your one of the lucky ones who can actully get in touch with them, almost impossible, very annoying answering service that actually gives no advsie and the offices themselves seem to only know about benefit claims!! nothing else
