The tailoring service is definitely poor but what is even worse is the customer service. I had a dress tailored last year but did not put on till this year and I went back to ask for modifications to be made. I was told I was not on their system although I have the text from June 2021 asking me to collect the item. I was told I should have brought it back last year and I explained that I did not put it on until this summer and that I was not there to complain but I just wanted it modified. I did not ask for a free service and did not criticise the quality of the work (or lack of in that case). The tailor was incredibly rude and even lost his temper - I could not understand everything he said unfortunately as he became quite dis-regulated- but as the quality of craftsmanship is poor anyway, I decided to take the dress and go elsewhere. I don’t have a problem with the quality of the work as these things do happen, but I do have an issue with people who due to the nature of their job they have to provide customer service and due to their inability to self-regulate end up blaming the customer rather than think how to make things right… so would love to take it further actually.
The cherry on of the cake was when I was told to provide the fabric that the trailer supplied and used in the first place in order for modifications to be made…
