I would avoid this dry cleaner. I gave them a delicate silk blouse which was new and in perfect condition but just needed freshening up and they returned it to me covered in watermarks. When I pointed out the marks and asked for a refund I was told I could not have a refund until they had been given the chance to remove the marks. I left the blouse with them and when I went to pick it up the second time they had removed those marks but there were two more large dark stains (possible grease) on the blouse. Extremely unhappy, I insisted that I was now entitled to a refund - I had given them something in perfect condition and twice they had returned it to me damaged, not what one expects from a professional cleaning service. They again refused to give me a refund unless they had another opportunity to remove those second stains. I was actually told that if I didn't leave the blouse with them a third time I would have to sue them to get my money back. I am appalled at the dreadful lack of customer service and the extremely aggressive and uncooperative attitude of the staff and manager. Bearing in mind I have been a customer of this particular branch, and known to the staff, for a number of years, I had expected a much better level of service - they obviously care not one jot about their customers or the service they provide.

I handed in a suit for dry cleaning. I highlighted three times that the sleeves needed to be covered during the process. The third time I said it I almost felt stupid for repeating myself, but I was trying to get my point across. The young lady wrote a note on the suit.
Despite all this, the suit was absolutely destroyed. the lining ripped and the hooks on the sleeves pulled out during the dry cleaning process.
They have had my suit now for a month and have not fixed it. I am considering raising this legally. I can't get them to return my goods.

Having worked in Farringdon for 10 years and lived here for 3 years I have used Whistles a lot and have always found them to be excellent - both at dry cleaning and mending various things.

They charged me £10 to dry-clean a dress and none of the stains came out so it is still complete unwearable. They did the usual warning of no guarantees before I handed it in, but if it was unlikley to come out they should have either refused to take it or at least let me pay less money, as I had exactly the same spoiled dress as before. Very aggressive woman behind the counter too. Not happy.

At £6.95 for 5 shirts, they are the cheapest in the area. Service is decent and ****s are delivered within 3 working days. Till now I have that they do an adequate job with cleaning and ironing. There are of course lots of dry cleaners in the area but expect to pay betwen £9.99 to £12.50 for 5 shirts. So if like me you get 5 shorts done every week, Whistle is a sensible choice.

The service at this place is really poor. Does it really take an 'Express Same Day Dry Cleaners' three days to clean one shirt?? Unfriendly and unhelpful staff really don't help matters, and this isn't he first time this has happened to me here.
