Downham Express Cleaners

I had 2 cashmere jumpers cleaned one was an oversized the other was fitted. When the jumpers came back the fitted jumper was noticeably smaller the arms had visibly shrunk. I tried it on and it had shrunk hugely.

I took the jumper back & they said they would sort it out & call me when they had sorted it.

Two weeks later I still hadn’t heard from them so I called in the lady I spoke to was surprised I hadn’t been contacted showed me my jumper it was still shrunk but said the owner would call me.
A few days later I received a text to say come in & we’ll talk… I went in & straight away she was on the offensive that the jumper was too small for me it wasn’t, that they alway have this problem with this particular shop the White Company they don’t she offered yo give me a letter for the White Company at this point I just wanted my money back for the jumper it was £50 in the sale, she literally threw it at me. I then left I paid the money into the bank then realised she’d given me old notes.

Mistakes are made just take responsibility….
