The Press Gang

since the new management, in 2012 i think, the dry cleaners has improved a lot , with a total change in appearance , its very professional - clean and modern . also the services have been vastly improved , with a very organized and professional quality to them , i would definitely recommend you check it out for yourself and see the great quality services they offer.

I have been using this service for at least 5 years now and ever since the new management took over it has only improved greatly!
I have found the staff to be enthusiastic, friendly and always willing to help. I have made the mistake of using other cleaners in the area for various work, which I've needed in an emergency on Sunday (as Press Gang are closed Sundays), and I have been disappointed by the quality.

Its a shame that people only come here to complain and not praise. The other cleaners in the area are awful in comparison and many people I have spoken to say the Press Gang are the definitely the best.

Hopefully these very limited number of individuals do not dim the Press Gang's shine.

Press gang have recently changed management and it's now terrible! My boyfriend’s brand new shirt now has a strange stain on it. I believe it’s now family run, and the family isn’t very friendly.

I've been using the service for a while now, as I have recently moved to Richmond. I find it really useful and of a very high quality. I think the staff are really helpful and friendly. The quality of the ironing is great and I don't have any complaints. I would definitely recommend The Press Gang to everyone reading this.

I have been using Pressgang services for the last ten years and was always very satisfied until recently when it was taken over by a new owner. One of my shirts was stained when I got it back. I went back to complain and they agreed to iron my next lot for free as a compensation, on my request. Guess what: that lot came back with again one of my best shirts badly stained. End of the story... I now stopped using their services. This is a shame as this shop used to provide a very good service for the local community. No longer so.

The press gang have recently changed management. We have been taking shirts and bedding to be ironed over several years. Our recent experience has been awful. Several shirts have been damaged with marks all over. The owners have denied any responsibility and indeed mentioned a few other complained of the same marks!!
We have taken shirts back on several occasions to be re-ironed as the quality of the ironing is not good and we were told it was the way we dried our shirts that was the problem. Its a shame as we now have to find somewhere else to take our ironing.

Rude and unprofessional service, items were returned with dirty marks on more then one occasion; dry-cleaned curtains there and they were destroyed. I will not use the Press Gang again.
