When I dropped off a lamp to be mended, I was told I would be called when it was ready to collect. As no call came, I finally phoned R J Electrical Supplies and was informed it was ready.
Yes, it had been repaired, but the shade had been broken and inexpertly glued back together. No note had been made of this damage, nor was I informed. I was the one to point the damage out to the shop assistant.
It transpired the shade could not be replaced.
I am disappointed by the poor communication, and seeming lack of transparency about the damage.
