I cant beleive what I am reading here.... I have just rented an apartment through square mile and they provided me an unbeleivable service. I have been renting for 6 years and delt with 5 estate agents in the city and square mile are by far the best company I have delt with. Stephano, the negotiator was honest, helpfull and guided me through the process with profesionalism and high style. I was so impressed with the service I even offered to take him out for a drink to say thank you!! Top service from a top agent and I would reccomend them to any one.

The WORST estate agent I have ever rented property through. I received the property in Morton Close, Shadwell, in a filthy state despite being told it would be professionally cleaned before I moved in. They manage properties through an office in the Docklands: its almost impossible to get through to these people there if you have a problem. They are very slow to fix problems in the flat: I had no water in my kitchen in for 6 weeks at one point!!!
Staff at both the City branch where I rented the property, and in the Docklands office are rude and incompetent. If challenged they tell you that they are waiting for the landlord to approve your request eg when fixing my water supply
It took 3 months to get my deposit back from them.
I would never rent (or buy) through this company again. I would recommend you avoid them at all costs.

Really awful service. They ignore calls and emails, takes them over a month to respond to repairs/problems. Avoid if you can, no matter how nice the flat is, it will cause you a bad headache and probably money too as you will end up repairing things yourself. If you are a landlord- don't instrust them as you will lose your tenant very quickly. Rude, lazy and no customer service awareness.

I am a tenant. Square Mile delivered extremely bad service. After not receiving a response to my emails and phone calls from my contact at the Dockland's office for weeks, I complained through a Weblink on their Website. I got an email back that included the comment that luckily I would move out soon anyway. Absolutely rude! They didn't even apologise and I did indeed move out soon after - not because I didn't like the flat, but because I did not want to deal with this agency any longer.

From the point of view of a tenant, this is potentially the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Totally incompetent - please avoid at all costs.
