The Golden Chip

Only a small shop but the fish & chips are the best in the area I would recommend I don't go anywhere else now, The only downside is there is always a queue at peak times which on its own tells the whole story. Well Done..

The chips are amazing,the fish tastes lovely and every thing is great.

I came here after reading the reviews, I can honestly say, I was not disappointed, the food was absolutely delicious, fresh, hot and very enjoyable. The staff were also superb. Allowed us to sit in their cafe next door as well. We travelled from Peterborough and we WILL return when we're next down this way. Thank you to all the wonderful staff on an enjoyable visit. I have to give 11/10. x

Moved to London from the south coast a few months ago. Easily the best fish and chips I've ever had in London or by the sea! Really friendly and helpful staff too. Very glad it's my local, will be back soon.

Unfortunately this shop has slipped drastically. Both my wife and myself have previously shopped here but tonight my wife bought 2 'freshly cooked' Haddock and 1 chips at 21:00. When my wife arrived home I couldn't believe the ODD fishy smell from this food.
The chips were brown and not golden and whilst the fish looked good, on eating, it was dry with a terrible bitter after taste (obviously cooked in old oil) and an over strong fishy taste which you would only get from unfresh fish.

One of the best fish and chip shops in London. The fish batter is always crisp and the chips delicious. Also really good value. It is just off the uxbridge road and definitely worth visiting.

This place is a gem.I have been using it for well over 20 years and the quality of the food has always been very high.The staff are always friendly and the place is very clean.The best chippy in this part of London imho.

This as got to be the best fish and chip shop in west london,fresh fish delivered daily from grimsby really fresh tasting food not processed The shop as been serving customers for over 120 years {could be one of the oldest fish shops in west london}please try .... a real treat you will soon become a regular enjoy............
