Good fishmonger, go fairly regularly. Only really writing the review because of the insanity of the two 1/10…that’s not fair. These lads are decent.

My mum and I have always used this fishmongers, even though they are very expensive, and they know us well. We went in this morning after waiting for a customer to leave. My mum is a 86 and a little frail so of course I went in with her even though there were two young men in there, one being served and another waiting. When the other server came out from the back he said "Its only three at a time in the shop one of you will have to leave". We both left and will not be returning. On Sunday there will be 60,000 football supporter at Wembley and Jonathan Norris will not allow 4 people in the shop. LUDICROUS.

I have started to buy fish here on a regular basis. I would not go anywhere else now because they have a wide choice and the fish is always fresh. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

These guys are very professional and friendly. I went in there saying I felt like cooking fish but that I didn't know exactly what to get, then I told them how many people I was having over, and not only did they make a great fish pie suggestion, they also threw in a huge bunch of fresh parsley for free as it was a part of the recipe they knew.

All in all, really nice fish, great sauces made in-house, and friendly staff! Definitely recommend this place, yet another great place in Victoria Park village.

My friend Tom and I went to Spit Jack's for a ham, egg and chips brunch and then decided to make dinner for some friends. We headed over the road to Jonathan Norris' shop and the guys were starting to close up to go and watch the Tottenham game but made time for us and gave us some good advice. The result was a great fish supper that went down a treat with our mates. I've only heard positive things about this place and the gentlemen there were spot on.

we went this morning after reading good reviews... What a waste...
As it is the season, we bought a prepared crab. It was looking gorgeous and fresh. In fact, it was a rip-off... For £7.50, you get a huge shell, but a VERY thin layer of white meat hiding the main content, orange coral which is far less interesting. Big disappointment. Avoid the place... the staff is not even friendly !
