Arnos Grove Food Centre

I used to be a frequent client of this shop - the owner was even kind enough to gift us free water bottles when we purchased more items for a big weekly shop. However, my partner just went there attempting to top up our energy meter after returning from abroad and finding that the payment system was currently being updated, so no online payments could be processed - only PayPoint. My partner visited the shop at 23:30, the shop was listed on PayPoint.com as available for the service until 23:59. The shop owner said he had turned off the PayPoint terminal and refused to provide the service. When my partner explained we were about to be left without heating and how water the shop owner said he doesn't care. What an awful man! This place is unreliable and I have reported it to PayPoint. I regret spending any money in this shop and will make sure to do my shopping at his competitors from now on. Can't wait to never step in that place again!
