Despina's Food Store

My first visit and absolutely loved the shop.

Just like being in Cyprus

I have been visiting the shop with my yia yia since I was a little girl, I am now 26!!
We travel up from Basingstoke, just to go to the shop, and we are never disappointed.
Amazing food and good friendly staff :)

I visit Despina foods at least 4 times a week the service is the best always greeted with warmth nothing is to much trouble their koubes are out of this world as us all their other delicacies like the olive bread the kolokotes highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experiance Greek shopping

We visited Despina's many times, we live in West London. Last Sunday at around 12pm they had no Koupes, no kefalotiry, no bourekia. which is the 3 main items we go there for. The Koulouri was made from ordinary flower and had no taste to it whatsoever, it was rubbery and tasteless. Sadly, the shop is not as authentic as it was a few years ago.They are now buying un-authentic produce from London and sell it off as genuine Cypriot product.

It is a great shame that this original and authentic shop has gone down the "pan" in the past year or so ago.We will not be going there again.

This is like little Cyprus, first time today but certainly won't be my last.
