Just awful. Super-pushy upselling from the minute you get in the chair.

And I wanted to cry when I saw the result of their colour work.

Such a massive let-down at a high price.

Absolutely wonderful experience at the salon today, the atmosphere is lovely, not at all cliquey. Straight away I was made to feel at ease. I had my hair cut by Simon whom seems to be able to work magic with his scissors, transforming my hair completely. Following that, I had a modern perm by Lily who's so friendly, and so knowledgable and always happy to make you another hot chocolate. She gave me my first ever perm which I absolutely love, also happy to give me practical advice on how to look after my hair, and created natural looking curls which I was was after. She's a credit to the team. Definitely worth the 4/5 hour round trip.

I've been a client for years but went last Friday and the colourist was grumpy an incommunicative. I asked her if she'd had other clients like on chemo and having the 'cold cap.' She obviously didn't want to chat to me. I'm a chatty American and having someone so grouchy was like torture. The next day my beautiful tjick head of hair started falling out. As of today it is almost gone. My carer told me the colourist should have known chemo patients/women on the cold cap must not have hair colour or bleach. Simon Warwick needs to educate his staff.

I really wanted to love this place as it's local to me and looks nice. Unfortunately the last few times I've had my hair coloured and cut here, after the first wash I've been left unhappy. I specifically asked the stylist not to add a certain shade on my hair. She told me she knew better and added it anyway. It doesn't suit my colouring and has left me looking really washed out.

The feeling Simon Warwick left me with was like when you go to a party and everyone else seems to know each other. No one has been impolite, but you can still feel a bit out of sorts. Real shame.

Fantastic experience! I can highly recommend Sameer (colour) and Nick (cut/blowdry). I had highlights on my long hair done. They look supernatural! And Nick did a great cut. They fully filled my high expectations! Thank you.

I wish I hadn't gone to this Salon. The service and atmosphere was cold, the haircut itself is shocking. I feel embarrassed to go outside with the rough cut they did. Honestly, there are patches of hair missing. DON'T GO HERE EVER

I'm very surprised by any negative comments for this salon. I've been going there for four years and have never been disappointed. Very professional, always good, consistent service in a relaxing atmosphere. Never been unhappy with any cut, colour or style. I use one girl most often there, but on occasion when she has been out I've been served by some of the others, and all have been good. I have actually moved away from NW London but still take the train over an hour in just to keep going to this salon.

I had the worst hair cut of my life (not exaggerating) £48. When i got home my family asked me to go back. I called back and asked if i could have it re-touched and they wanted to charge me again. The lady that gave me the hair cut could not hold the scissors. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED. Rude people.

When they closed the Notting Hill Salon they didn't even have the good manners to phone customers who had already made an appointment to let them know not to bother turning up which is just rude and inconsiderate

Fantastic service from both the Maida Vale and Notting Hill shops. They fit me in very early and late. Always cheerful and a wonderful blow dry

Last two visits were a complete disappointment. Both were for weddings. First was for a blow out - which I could have done better myself. Flat, no body. The second was to have my hair done up, and again, the very young stylist was pushy, rude and didn't do what I asked. High street prices for disappointing service and results. Won't return.

just moved into the area and was recomended to simon warwick by a friend. my friend told me to go and see Rachel for the colour. iv got to say iv never felt so looked after. After a well detailed consultation, i could tell Rachel knew exactly what i was after. she also gave me a few other options which was very helpful. the colour turned out amazing and Rachel offered to also blowdry it for me which was great. would defenatly recomend this place.

I have been going to Simon Warwick for three years and i must say i have always walked away feeling a million dollars! I normally see Shona or Rachel for my colour and Aga always cuts my hair! For blowdrys everyone is great and they also have a great junior stylist called Gareth who is every bit as good as Simon himself at the big bouncy blow outs! The receptionist there Shaliny is great and will always fit you in and the whole team seems almost like a family! The engery is buzzy and lively with a great proffesional feel! I couldnt imagen going anyhwere else! For people who write negative reviews about the salon i say u shouldnt be going to a great place like Simons and maybe try your luck in a stiff no atmosphered salon in town!!!!

Went to Simon for a haircut after being recommended by a friend. I am a usual at Tony and Guy where I have a great stylist doing my hair - however he was sick this week and I really needed a haircut. Wish I had waited!

The service was nothing to write home about. I was surprised I wasn't offered a coffee to start with but matters got worse when Simon took over - he was clearly in a rush and did not pay the due attention to the haircut he was giving me. The end result was hair full of patches and way too short for my taste - even though I told him that short hair is not what I was after! Also, the side and top dont mesh properly and I look as if I was trimmed to short on the side and forgotten to be trimmed on the top - which was exactly that. He spent all the time taking care of back and side of my hair and then he just didn't have any more time to cut the top, leading to a disastrous haircut.

Cost was £45 for a haircut that was better done at suppercutters. Will never visit again and DO NOT recommend this place.
