I've been longing to have my ears pierced, ever since my friend got them done 3 years ago. After a while, I couldn't bear it any longer and went straight to Harold George. A woman led me into a small room and showed me the earrings. I chose a pretty pair of gold studs with red gems in them and realised that the woman had brought out a large blue object that was not scary in looks. She then dabbed some antiseptic onto my ears and marked them with a blue pen. I checked four times in the mirror to make sure that they were where I wanted them to be. The woman loaded her piercing gun and asked me wether I wanted her to count to three or just get on with it. I chose the latter and she aligned the gun. I stayed perfectly still and heard a click as the needle went into my ear. To be honest the sound waves in the air were the most i could feel because I really didn't believe that she had done it. After realising that she had, I let her move onto my left ear. After I had my ears pierced she didn't waste time with unnecessary details. She gave me a small bottle of antiseptic and told me to wash them twice a day for 6 weeks. It has been 3 weeks and no redness or swelling has occured.
