I had my first visit today and certainly won’t be my last. I am newish to the area and didn’t want to travel far for a salon.
Tina and David were very friendly and abided to the COVID rules very well. I felt very comfortable.
David asked me lots of questions about what style I wanted etc and executed brilliantly, I am very happy and will be back again!

I never write reviews. However, I felt this is an exception. I am normally fearful of haircuts, I have fine curly hair, that is sadly thinning at an exponential rate. My hair needed desperately cutting as I was at a stage of hating it so much. I had walked past this salon on many an occasion, as it is just down the road from where I live and booked an appointment. What had i got to lose? David was sympathetic and attentive at the consultation and I wonder If i presented a little bit of a challenge to him. His experience in cutting hair really shone through. I allowed him to cut away and trusted his scissors!in return, I have a hairstyle that I admire and love for the first time in millennia. It's rare I maintain such an opinion 24 hours after, but it hasn't changed an iota. If anything, I love it even more. Thank you so much! Vani x

I had seen House often as it’s just across the green where I live . Then one day I decided to use them rather than my regular hairdresser and Tina did a great cut - really good colour filling in the bits that were left out usually and very natural .The cut was also great and it grew out really well !
Then I got a card through my door in the summer offering a reduction on a cut with the new art director (David ?) and I really love this haircut too!
Had lots of comments about it !
I even rang and left a message as I wanted them to know how much I like the cut !
Yes I agree with other it is a bit more pricey but they take their time and do what ‘you’ need .. and maybe there will be some more reduction offers!!

After looking around for a decent hairdresser, I decided to try House. I certainly didn't regret it, and won't be going anywhere else from now on! My hair is stupidly fine, but Nicole cut it brilliantly, giving it body and shape that it previously didn't have. I'm a very happy client!

Tina has been cutting my hair for about 4 years now and I can honestly say her skills are tremendous. I get a fantastic haircut which looks great even as it grows. Yes she charges more than a surburban salon would but you are getting 'West End' service and skills. Its all relevant - you get what you pay for!!

Just got home from a well needed cut & blow dry. Tried 'House' after reading previous reviews... glad I did. Absolutely brilliant! Nice decor and atmosphere. Very friendly and most of all a superb hair cut. A little pricey, but, I think, well worth it. I will definitely be a regular from now on :)

Totally agree with other reviewers... I have been bouncing around from hairdresser to hairdresser for years now, but I'm going to stick with House. Tina has been doing my hair for about a year and a half and I've never left the salon without feeling fabulous. My hair also looks good BETWEEN cuts, and she gives me a fringe trim for free between cuts to keep me going for a bit longer.
Yes she's possibly a few quid more than some of the big chains, but that's because she has a high level of expertise. And because it's walking distance from my house, I'm saving money and time on petrol/tube fares etc... Definitely worth it.

I have always been really happy with my cuts from House. I have curly hair and even top stylists in big names salons have not always been able to give me a cut that I can then make look decent myself so for me it is well worth the money. I would recommend to anyone. In an attempt to save money I went to a cheaper stylist but then had to go back to House to get it put back to something normal. Like the others here I think in this instance you get what you pay for and it is worth that little extra not to look like a helmet head. I would have given it 10 stars if it cost a little less.

The art director and owner of this business has only been open for around a year and I have had around 6 hair cuts from late April to late October 2009 with them. The quality of my haircuts have been perfect, and better than most salons stylists in London. I understand that my hair is very difficult to cut and style, but this art director has vast past experiences with all hair types in the Hoxton area of London as an employeem and comes highly recommended from me as a self employed hair stylist. The only reason I did not declare a 10 is because of the price which is approximately twice as much as most salons would charge in the locality. However, you do get what you pay for in life. I also understood that it would be this directors intention to employ extra staff and perhaps lower the hair stylist prices accordingly in the future.
