Hair Mistress

I went for hair trimming and front fringe cut, but the stylist did not understand it and cut my hair short!!! I did show the length i wanted, i wanted just a little trim but ended having short length hair... He did not do much for the fringe as well... Not going there again.

I was there earlier on last week and can say that had a good experience with this rather beautifully decorated hair saloon. I was greeted well and the staff were very friendly. Had a wash, cut & blowdry and it was great! I definitely recommend HM to friends and family.

it was a very nasty experience with this hairdresser . i had highlights done ,my hair was orange after that, they tried to correct it because i was crying in the salon , the root were 3 cm not coloured , it looked like i had highlights 6 months ago !
DONT go there . waste of time and money , and they are not nice !!

I have never been a member of All In London but I signed up today so that I can warn you all of the disaster hair appointment I had here yesterday! I called a few hairdressers and all were too busy and this one had an appointment which should have been a sign in itself not to go there. The staff were friendly and I was the only person in the salon with two hairdressers. They did the usual things of saying how the last hairdresser had done my hair wrong and they were doing it this new magical way! I was a bit dubious however they seemed to know what they were doing! After 2 hours they kept telling me it looked very good and that they would add a toner. After they washed my hair I took the towel off and my face dropped at the orange hair I now had from the lovely brown with sun kissed blonde highlights!! I was in shock and my heart was beating as they tried to rectify it! By now there were two other customers who were looking at me in shock as well. They eventually had to dye it all brown so years’ worth of trying to have nice blonde highlights have gone! 24 hours later I still have a headache from all the pulling of my hair. I was offered a £15 discount and left the salon with two hairdressers screaming at each other in the middle of the salon as customers looked on! The owner was not present and when I spoke to her on the phone asked where she was as she now had a salon with two hairdressers screaming at each other!! I am beyond unhappy with my hair and I would urge you not to go back. I have been offered a free set of highlights again to try to rectify the mess! I have never once been unhappy with a haircut or highlights and I am in shock at what happened this weekend! I will never understand how I went in for some highlights and came out with orange hair!! And now have the dark brown look which I have spent years getting away from to be ruined in a flash by incompetent hairdressers!

I went to the Hair Mistress about 4 weeks ago with slightly worried as I have Afro hair. I have had bad expperiences in well known hairdressing chains, so wasnt sure if this single shop could manage. I received a lovely welcome from Antonio, who clearly wasnt fazed by my wooley mass of hair, and proceeded to cut and style my hair, perfectly interpreting my rather ambiguous request. Antonio and I chatted like we'd known each other for years, and he never once asked me the usual 'where are you going for your holidays this year' line. Although this appointment was the result of winning a prize, I would definately go back as having confidence in your hairdresser is as important as having a good dentist, doctor, etc. In summary, if Antonio can do my hair, he is perfectly capable of doing anyones hair. Fantastic.
