I was desperate to find a decent hairdresser in the Mill Hill/Edgware area having tried several locally that just didn’t cut it! (sorry!). I had almost given up when my friend introduced me to Garo and Margaret. I met this “fabulous couple” and have not looked back since. From the moment I walked into their salon to the moment I left, I was made to feel very welcome, their professionalism is second to none and the best bit, they are both fantastic hairdressers.
After my cut, colour, wash and blow dry, I loved it! And keep going back..........

The salon is run by husband and wife team, Garo and Margaret. Although Garo is known as the cutter and Margaret the colourist, they’re able to swap roles and both have been trained in the highly skilled art of dry hair cutting.
You can put your trust in Margaret to tint and highlight hair in the most flattering tones of colour. Garo can turn his hand to any style and keeps his eye on the latest trends and products.
The salon is spotlessly clean, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. You can either join in the chat or sit quietly, and just enjoy having your hair done, there’s no pressure.

Lovely warm and friendly atmosphere in the salon, I felt extremely comfortable, relaxed and confident in what they were doing. Very respectful people and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is quite picky and worried about trusting anyone with their hair as they are very understanding and do the best to satisfy the customer. Garo used to cut my hair years ago when I lived in Edgware I even came back when I moved to Marlow. I now live in Oxford and visited my family this weekend I thought I would fit in a cheeky cut with Garo. He is truly the best hair cutter in the world!!!!!! He is absolutely meticulous when he cuts and the result is perfect - I pay a fortune for a cut in Oxford and it is never half as good as when Garo cuts it. It feels like visiting family when I go in and I will be back soon I went in looking like worzel gummidge and came out looking like a super model (well my hair did)

I couldn't recommend Jons Salon enough. A work colleague gave me a hair voucher 15 years ago for Jons and I haven't been anywhere else since. Margaret & Garo are truly 2 amazing hairdressers and make me & my kids feel so special every visit.
Garo cuts & colours my hair beautiful,I totally trust him to style it the way he feels it should be - he should know he's the professional hairdresser not me!

Margaret is the MOST amazing colourist, I currently have highlights and trust her 100% to decide the tone and amount. Garo is a top hair dresser too. They are genuine, honest and know how to make a girl feel and look amazing. I have been using them for years.

I have finally found a hairdresser who understands how to tame my frizzy mop. I was really nervous about trying a new hairdresser, but Garo and Margaret were so kind and understanding.
Now I have a great cut and colour at a very reasonable price too. Definitely recommend this place - What a find!

I have been to many hairdressers and always been dissapointed...but Jons was different, they gave me an excellent cut and colour, and am more than happy to keep going back.
I have recommended Jons to many people and not kept this great find a secret as Margaret and Garo are such lovely people and really fantastic hairdressers.

If you are looking for a restyle then go here. I have just been again on 28 Sept and had a total restyle and love it and so does everyone else. I had quite long hair with blonde highlights and an overall tint and I went in and said 'Hate it. Cut it off' so now I have an asymetric short hair cut with a different overall colour and big blonde flashes. It's much more modern and suits me so much better. Both Garo and Margaret loved the challenge of doing something different and were totally committed to giving me an amazing haircut. Nothing was too much trouble as always.

I've been going to this salon for over 16 years and have never had a bad haircut or colour. The owners cannot do enough for their clients and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Highly recommended.

Had such a fantastic time at Jons Hair Salon. My sisters, mum and mother-in-law-to-be all went to have our hair cut and I had my first try out of wedding hair! We were treated wonderfully with lots of tea and biscuits and lots of friendly chatting. We had lovey deep conditions and perfect hair cuts.

A girl at work recommended this salon and having been there I think its a bit mean of her not to have told me about it before! Garo is the hairdresser and Margaret his lovely wife does the colouring. They are very friendly and I have been very pleased with all my cuts & colours there. You couldn't wish for a warmer welcome and the prices are very reasonable. I travel up there from Lewisham so I wouldn't go all that way if it wasn't good!

I have been going to Jons hair salon for a long time now. I can honestly say that it is the best hairdressing salon I have ever been to in my time. Garo and Margaret form the basis of a workable team that upholds a superb ethic; they are jolly, hospitable, understanding, and care to actually listen to you as a client. Although I live nearly an hour away from Jons, I wouldn't dare go anywhere else. If you are looking for a salon that knows exactly what its doing, call them now and make an appointment. Believe me you won't be disappointed. Highly recommendable....

The service at this salon is the best I have ever come across in the industry. It is owned by Garo & Margaret (husband & wife) who will do anything they can to accommodate your needs. The salon is very clean and some may think it a little out of date, this does not detract from what this couple can offer you in the way of up to date colours and styles. Prices are very reasonable and customer service amazing!If you haven't tried this hairdresser yet, book an appointment and give them a try.

What a fantastic find!! Lovely hair salon, very reasonable and for someone who is always worried to try anyone new, my fears were soon dissapated. Garo, my stylist was so lovely, listened to what I wanted and the price was half what I used to pay at my old salon. Would definately recommend you try!

I was a regular weekly customer with Jons for over 16 years until I moved to Stevenage Hertfordshire in 1997. During my 14 years in Stevenage I have occasionally been back to Jons, as I have not been able to find a Hairdresser in Stevenage that can cut and style Hair the way that Garo does. So In February 2011 I made up my mind to go back to Jons, telephoned for an appointment - and I am now a happy person according to my husband.

I have been coming to Jon's Hair Salon for about 9 years and what they don't know about hair isn't worth knowing about. Garo and his wife Margaret are a fantastic double team who cover all aspects of hair - from the simplest of cuts to the most complex of colour/highlights - these two have it all covered. If you want a hairdresser that actually knows what they are doing, go to Jon's!
